Kindness to a roommate.
Today, I saw that one of my roommates had left a bottle of rancid soy milk on top of our fridge. This really annoyed me. In fact, this roommate annoys me 80% of the time. However, instead of letting it sit there and rot while I merely looked upon it in disgust, I decided that my first act of love would be to just throw it away for her. While I was tying up my trash bags, I felt compelled to LOVE my roommate rather than hold ill feelings against her for petty instances of her obnoxiousness. So, I put down my pride and took out the trash in her trash can too.
I wonder what opportunity God will give me tomorrow! :)

Intro to 31 Days of Love
RE-POSTING Alex Park's:
"I am embarking on a new personal initiative!
Inspired by Jaeson Ma's "365 Days of Love", I will be attempting to "live out love" by doing one act of kindness/love everyday for 31 days (one month).
In Jaeson Ma's words, "I'm realizing that its one thing to talk about love, its a whole other thing to live it. I must practice what I preach, not just talk about it, but be about it. Hopefully, I can achieve this goal with your support, prayers and help. I'll do my best and let God do the rest."
So following in suit of Jaeson, I will post on my blog an act of love that I did for the day. It could be anything, I won't know till I see what each day of opportunities brings to me. It won't always be amazing or unheard of, but it will be deliberate and intentional and something I would not have done otherwise
I believe God calls his people to be a people of love. The Bible says that the greatest commandments we are to live by are: love God and love others."
So yes, I am inspired by Alex's inspiration. I'm officially committing to 31 days of showing acts of love and kindness. Why? Because Christ first loved me!
Each one should use whatever gift we has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. (1 Peter 4:10)
